Tilia Hotel

Location, and only location.

- Staff at the reception. - Cleanliness if rooms was so low. - Noise from other rooms because of bad sound isolation. - Old furniture. - Very small elevators. - Rooms interior differ a lot from what was advertised online.

Good location

didn't have AC until last day despite numerous requests to fix it. The Wifi did not work as advertised. The receptionist tried to make me pay at checkout even though already paid for. the shuttle stopped for fuel on way to airport and we missed flight.

Really the Hotel is old, the lifts is old and small need to much time waiting, a bad smile of Sewerage feel in the Reception area, and the breakfast was not good.

Breakfast were small items and staff behavior was not good specially the ladies.

Location is good.

Location was very important for me. Tilia Hotel is closed to the Istanbul Landmarks without to lose the quiet atmosphere that I was looking for a hotel after every day to walking in a tour.

Just a little bit more warm food, like scrambled eggs or hot coffee or tea. And also, take off the dust in the rooms. At least the first day of occupancy. That will be nice.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help — they truly made my experience special. The atmosphere was welcoming, everything was well taken care of, and the location felt very safe and convenient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s a perfect mix of comfort, hospitality, and peace of mind

The fact was not far from the blue mosque and souq bazar area.

The room number 2014 has a window looking at noise of AC air cooling system, you hear the noice while sleeping.Also there was a building construction next door.Which you can hear noice as well.

It’s really clean and the staffs were very friendly and the check in and check out was very easy and fast.

The room is tiny.

Window wouldn’t close and it was noisy, 1/3 of a glass shower door was missing, walls were dirty

great location near to bus , tram and metro stations rooms are fair hotel lobby is big and you can enjoy your time there

breakfast has no varietiesserved in poor way rooms were not cleaned regularly sometimes just changing the bed sheet but no carpet clean will serve u water and coffee only on the first day then u have to figure it out we were getting the cigarettes smoke through AC whenever someone is smoking in their room which along with the carpet not been regularly vacuumed triggered my allergies

Location, staff, breakfast, cleanliness of the whole hotel including my own room were all above my expectations. The rooms get cleaned every day, and specially the location is of the top level, it's near to almost all the famous tourist destinations, metro, bus, tram and train stations are easily reachable and near to the hotel. Iam 100% satisfied with my stay at tilia hotel.

Only location

Very old hotel, space is toooooo small, lift you can accommodate only 2 people same time. Breakfast too poor, we stayed 4 days, only once we had too eat, because we had your early morning and most of the places were closed

Just a bit for check out was too early for me the very first night I come late because of my flight was delayed from London Heathrow and I Arrived late the Hotel after midnight and the receptionist was trying to cancel my booking by the time I come he is telling me I was about to cancel your booking I get shocked on what he was saying I’ve told him it was not me either not In Istanbul Airport it was London, and I’ve told please don’t taked quick decision on same ones booking always check flight status.

Polite, positive and friendly personal.Ideal location, which is very close to the metro station. Two women who cleaned our rooms are so lovely! special thanks to them for making our stay clean and safe!!!

I expected more variety of foods. I think for four star hotel, they could offer better breakfast.

Close to everything

Bed covers are worn out and have tears. Beds are old. Staff needed to be reminded many times to provide our room with toilet papers. No mugs for coffee were available. No rubbish bin was available to use inside the room. Although 'No smoking signs' were displayed everywhere but somehow some staff n visiters were smoking behind doors because we could smell it almost 24/7 during our stay

The house keep staff are friendly

The room did not meet my expectations , as 4 stars hotel , the bath room is very small , the shower was not fuctionning properly , poor lighhting , the light in front of the dressing cupboard was not fucttioning so it was hard to see our clothes
